About the Organisation: Lotus Hearts Buddhist Institute and Initiatives is a women-led, not-for-profit centre dedicated to preserving and sharing the authentic teachings of Tibetan Buddhism in a modern, accessible way. Based in the Southern Highlands, it is the first Tibetan Buddhist Institute in Australia to be established by a Geshe-ma — a female Doctor of Buddhist Philosophy — and one of the first of its kind in the Western world. We offer courses, community events, and resources that support spiritual growth, compassion, and wisdom in everyday life. Rooted in lineage, led with integrity, and inspired by the vision of a kinder world, we welcome volunteers who wish to contribute meaningfully to the Dharma.
