🌿 Volunteer Opportunity at Silky Oak Community 🌿 Silky Oak Community is a nature based drop off program for children aged 5-12 in the Forster region. We are working towards becoming an independent school. Each week, our program runs smoothly thanks to the support of volunteers. Having an extra set of hands not only helps ensure safety and wellbeing, but also keeps our program affordable and sustainable for all families. What volunteering looks like: Helping with setup or pack-down Keeping an eye on play areas Offering a warm and supportive presence alongside the facilitator The facilitator is always responsible for the planning and organisation — volunteers simply provide that extra bit of support that makes all the difference. We warmly welcome parents, caregivers, grandparents, or other special people to be involved. Requirements: A gentle approach to caring for children Volunteers (or someone from your family circle) will need a Working With Children Check (WWCC), which includes a National Police Check. This is free for volunteers and can be applied for easily through Service NSW. 💚 Every little bit of help counts — your contribution makes a real difference to the community.
