Kookaburra Kids Foundation

The Australian Kookaburra Kids Foundation provides free, early intervention mental health education programs for young people aged 8–18 who are impacted by family mental illness. Through engaging activity days and camps, we create safe, supportive environments where young people can connect with others who share similar experiences. Our programs use fun, evidence-based approaches to reduce stigma, build resilience, and promote positive mental health outcomes. We believe that every young person deserves the opportunity to thrive, regardless of their family’s mental health challenges. By fostering understanding, connection, and confidence, Kookaburra Kids empowers participants to develop essential coping skills and strengthen their emotional wellbeing. Our commitment is to help young people see beyond their circumstances, equipping them with tools and support networks that enable them to flourish in all aspects of life.
