Friends of Parks Queensland (FOPQ) is an environmental not-for-profit organisation that supports volunteers working in and around Queensland’s national parks. We assist local volunteer groups with online promotion, event coordination, and support in accessing and managing grant funding for environmental projects. Our mission is to build, connect, and support conservation volunteers across Queensland, while also leading our own engagement and conservation initiatives. We are committed to fostering strong relationships with our “Friends of Parks” member groups, delivering a range of activities and events in collaboration with Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service.
