Emerge & See is a registered Australian not-for-profit charity that supports current and former serving emergency service workers, volunteers and their families across New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory. Our community includes personnel from police, fire and rescue, ambulance, state emergency services, rural fire service, corrective services and surf lifesaving. Founded by former emergency service personnel with lived experience of service-related trauma and recovery, Emerge & See was created to address the unique mental health and wellbeing challenges faced by those who dedicate their lives to protecting others. The organisation provides free, independent and confidential support, offering peer-led connection, guidance, education and access to trusted professional services. Through a holistic approach that includes medical, legal, financial and wellbeing support, Emerge & See helps members navigate recovery, rebuild their lives and find purpose beyond injury or trauma.
