Training

A combination of online, face-to-face and on the job training will be provided to ensure you are confident in the role. Ongoing training and support will also be provided.

Time required

Approximately 5-6 hours a week. Girls come to weekly meetings at the Guide Hall during the school term these are usually 1.5 - 2 hours. Allow some extra time on these days. Time is needed for planning meetings with other Leaders once or twice a term. Occasional weekend outdoor activities and camps that are offered are optional but encouraged.

Reimbursement

Any pre-approved expenses will be reimbursed.

Requirements

National Police Certificate
Working with Children Check

You will need to provide the contact details for two referees who are not related to you and can speak to your suitability for this role. In training for this role you will need to complete a First Aid Certificate.
