Nutcote is the former historic home and garden of May Gibbs, Australia’s foremost children’s author and illustrator, best known for The Complete Adventures of Snugglepot and Cuddlepie. Now a house museum, Nutcote’s daily operations are supported by a dedicated team of volunteers.

In this role Tearoom volunteers help in the Bib and Bub Tearoom to prepare and serve refreshments to visitors to Nutcote.

Full training provided. We are looking at a 6-month minimum commitment for this position. Duties include:

  • Prepare and serve food and drinks in the Nutcote Tearoom

  • Process orders and chat to customers

Skills and Attributes:

  • Excellent communications skills

  • Previous food/drink preparation skills desirable, not essential

  • Well presented

  • Reliable.
