If you are someone that is genuinely caring, compassionate and empathetic, and want to make a positive impact on your community, an Emergency relief Volunteer and Conference Members role could be for you.

These roles are specifically for our Wednesday shifts where you will be volunteering along side another experienced person to provide essential and necessary financial relief in the Cameron Park and Jesmond surrounds. The role of Community Support Volunteers and Conference Member includes:

• Meeting with vulnerable community members • Completing assessments to determine the individuals needs • Collaborating with other Volunteer Members to determine the assistance to be provided to the individual • Making 3rd party referrals to other professional services

No previous experience is needed for these volunteer roles, however the main requirement is that your values align with those of St Vincent de Paul; Commitment, Compassion, Respect, Integrity, Empathy, Advocacy and Courage. We will offer you full support and training.
