HammondCare Braeside Hospital—providing rehabilitation, palliative care, and older persons’ mental health services—is looking for a friendly, outgoing volunteer to help bring moments of joy to patients and visitors 💛.

In this role, you’ll assist by pushing a refreshments trolley stocked with sweet treats, drinks, and light alcoholic beverages 🍪☕🍷. With a warm smile and a kind word, you’ll help create a welcoming, uplifting atmosphere as you move from room to room.

Your presence can spark conversation, lift spirits, and become a highlight in someone’s day ✨.

Your impact

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.
