🌸 Bring Comfort and Connection as a Volunteer 🌼

HammondCare Braeside Hospital provides rehabilitation, palliative care, and older persons’ mental health services — and we’re looking for a warm‑hearted volunteer to help bring gentle moments of comfort and companionship 💛.

This role is all about kind presence and simple pampering. You might spend time chatting with residents, listening to their stories, or enjoying calming relaxation music together 🎶. With training provided, you’ll also offer gentle hand massages and simple nail care like filing or a touch of nail polish 💅✨.

It’s a beautiful way to brighten someone’s day through connection, care, and a soft, soothing touch 🌿.

Your impact

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.
