ReLove is a Sydney-based charity that furnishes homes for people in crisis, using quality preloved furniture diverted from landfill to help individuals and families rebuild their lives with dignity. We support around 25 families each week and have furnished thousands of homes while saving tonnes of furniture from landfill.

We’re looking for energetic, capable and enthusiastic volunteers to join our friendly team in a busy environment. ReLove is welcoming, inclusive and powered by a genuinely enthusiastic volunteer community. Volunteers can choose the roles they want to take on each day, working in small teams where ideas are shared, conversations flow and the warehouse is always buzzing with energy.

As a small grassroots organisation, volunteers regularly interact with the ReLove team, the clients we support, corporate volunteers and other community volunteers, so you're always meeting people and making connections. You can clearly see the impact of the work you do, helping families rebuild their lives while keeping quality furniture out of landfill.

It's fun, fast-paced and physical - you'll get your steps up, work with great people and be part of real social and environmental change.

When: Anytime you aree free between Mondays to Fridays, 8:30am–3:30pm. We're happy if you join us once a week or once a month, whatever suits you best.

Where: Our warehouse in Alexandria (parking is available onsite or nearby)

What you will be doing (including but not limited to):

• Assisting clients in crisis in our "Free Store" where they choose furniture and homewares to furnish their homes

• Packing soft furnishings and kitchen items

• Helping on deliveries, making beds and setting up the homes of our clients

• Supporting our team with day-to-day jobs as needed
