Companionship & Social Support, Seniors & Aged Care

Training

Volunteers will receive basic training and ongoing support. Orientation of aged care facilities and homes will be provided before commencing regular visits to ensure the comfort and safety of our volunteers.

Time required

Volunteers will be expected to spend at minimum 1 hour per fortnight with their matched care recipient. The time(s) and day(s) can be decided between the volunteer and care recipient to suit them.

Requirements

National Police Certificate

A National Police Check (paid for by us) will be required before commencement.
