Women 4 STEM Volunteer Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) - Not-for-Profit

The Chief Revenue Officer plays a pivotal role in advancing the financial sustainability and growth of the organisation. Reporting directly to the CEO, the CRO will lead the strategic development and execution of revenue-generating initiatives to support the organization's mission.
Key Responsibilities:
- Revenue Strategy:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive revenue strategy aligned with the organisation's mission and strategic objectives.
- Identify and evaluate diverse revenue streams, including but not limited to donations, grants, sponsorships, and partnerships. Fundraising
- Leadership:
- Lead and inspire a high-performing fundraising team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and results.
- Oversee the planning and execution of fundraising campaigns, events, and appeals to engage donors and supporters.
- Partnership Development:
- Cultivate and manage relationships with corporate partners, foundations, and other key stakeholders to secure financial support and strategic collaborations.
- Explore and negotiate sponsorship opportunities that align with the organization's values and goals.
- Grant Management:
- Oversee the grant application and management process, ensuring timely submissions, compliance, and reporting.
- Collaborate with program teams to align funding opportunities with organizational priorities.
- Data Analysis and Performance Metrics:
- Utilize data-driven insights to assess the effectiveness of revenue strategies and adjust tactics accordingly.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and report on revenue generation efforts.
- Financial Stewardship:
- Work closely with the finance team to develop and manage budgets related to revenue generation activities.
- Provide regular updates to the executive leadership and board on revenue performance and financial health.
Qualifications:
- Proven leadership experience in revenue generation within the non-profit sector.
- Strong understanding of fundraising principles, donor relations, and grant management.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with a track record of developing and executing successful revenue strategies.
- Familiarity with relevant technologies and tools for fundraising and donor management.
** Education and Experience:**
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a senior leadership role in fundraising or revenue generation for non-profit organizations.
