Training

Lifeline Crisis Supporter Training provided on behalf of Lifeline Australia RTO 88036, is a requirement of this volunteer role. The course fee is $550.

Time required

The initial Stage 1 training has 10 topics delivered in a variety of contexts, depending on Centre resources. Stage 1 requires a commitment of 6-10 hours per week, depending on the course selected (a variety of course times and days are available). This is followed by a commitment of 9-12 months of phone experience to complete student placement and internship to receive a Statement of Attainment.
