Fun in the Sun is a not-for-profit charity supporting children, young people and families in times of need. How we do this? Through holding festivals, toy drives, galas, clothes donations and other exciting initiatives!

We are currently looking for an IT specialist to help us manage our IT needs!

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to staff and volunteers for hardware, software, and network issues.
2. Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of computers, printers, and other IT equipment.
3. Ensure the security and integrity of our digital assets by implementing and maintaining data protection measures, including backups and antivirus software.
4. Collaborate with the web development team to update and maintain our organization's website.
5. Evaluate and recommend improvements to our IT systems and infrastructure to enhance efficiency and productivity.
6. Assist in the training of staff and volunteers on IT-related matters to ensure proper usage and adherence to best practices.

Qualifications:

1. Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking fundamentals.
2. Proficiency in troubleshooting technical issues and providing timely solutions.
3. Experience with content management systems (Wix) is preferred but not required.
4. Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and data protection regulations a plus.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
