Volunteer Opportunity – Be a Friend to a Catholic Brother

Do you have 30 minutes to an hour to spare each week or fortnight? We’re looking for someone warm, patient, and compassionate to spend time with one of our Catholic Brothers. Whether it’s a simple chat, reading together, a quiet board game, or watching the news side by side, your presence can bring comfort, connection, and a sense of companionship.

Even a short visit has the power to brighten someone’s day in a truly meaningful way.

Requirements:

A valid Working With Children Check

Proof of 2 COVID-19 vaccinations

A recent flu vaccination

This is a beautiful opportunity to build connection and brighten someone's week — all it takes is your time and kindness.

Your impact

We have a wonderful group of volunteers that partner with us to enhance the lives of elderly people. HammondCare is an approved provider of the Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme (ACVVS), funded by the Australian Government.
