Wagga Home Visit Welfare Support Volunteer

Our St Vincent de Paul Crisis Support Conferences in Wagga are looking for friendly, reliable volunteers to be a kind and warm first point of contact for people experiencing vulnerability or hardship.
What you’ll do:
- Make a real, immediate difference in the lives of people facing challenges.
BY
- Visiting people in their homes, helping them feel safe and supported, and provide the most appropriate assistance to the person’s or family’s needs
- Having caring, respectful, down to earth conversations to understand what support is being requested.
- Working in pairs to provide assistance.
- Maintaining basic records, either on paper or by entering information into our digital database.
- Making 3rd party referrals to other professional services.
No experience is needed, just empathy, a warm smile and a willingness to uphold the St Vincent de Paul values: Commitment, Compassion, Respect, Integrity, Empathy, Advocacy and Courage. We will offer you full support and training.
