Fundraising and Partnerships Manager

Women’s Welfare Australia (WWA) is a charity dedicated to empowering vulnerable women and girls from CALD backgrounds, including refugees and migrants. We provide essential social support, skills development, and community to create lasting positive change.
The role We are seeking a passionate and committed Fundraising & Partnerships Manager (Volunteer) to drive funding, build strategic partnerships, and oversee key fundraising events. This is a vital role in ensuring the sustainability and growth of WWA.
Key responsibilities: Fundraising & Grants:
- Develop and implement fundraising strategies to increase revenue. Identify and apply for grants, ensuring compliance with funding requirements.
- Manage donor relations, including outreach, engagement, and stewardship.
- Create compelling fundraising campaigns and initiatives.
Corporate & philanthropic partnerships:
- Build and maintain relationships with corporate sponsors, philanthropic foundations, and community partners.
- Develop sponsorship packages and secure funding commitments.
- Explore opportunities for workplace giving and matched donations.
Events & community engagement:
- Plan and execute fundraising and awareness events (e.g., annual fundraiser, community events, donor appreciation events).
- Collaborate with volunteers and staff to ensure successful event delivery.
- Develop event-related sponsorship and partnership opportunities.
Skills & experience:
- Experience in fundraising, partnerships, event planning, or related fields.
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
- Grant writing experience is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of fundraising compliance and best practices.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Passion for community work and women’s empowerment.
