Women’s Welfare Australia (WWA) is a charity dedicated to empowering vulnerable women and girls from CALD backgrounds, including refugees and migrants. We provide essential social support, skills development, and community to create lasting positive change.

Role Overview: WWA is looking for an experienced Social Media Manager to help manage and grow our online presence. This role involves creating and curating content, engaging with followers, and ensuring that our social media platforms reflect the mission and values of WWA.

Key Responsibilities: • Develop and execute a social media strategy to increase engagement and awareness. • Create and schedule content across multiple platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.). • Engage with followers and respond to messages and comments in a timely manner. • Monitor social media trends, competitor activity, and relevant news to inform content creation. • Track and report on social media metrics to evaluate the success of campaigns.

Skills & Qualifications: • Proven experience in social media management and ability to work in a team. • Strong knowledge of social media platforms and tools (Hootsuite, Sprout Social, etc.). • Excellent content creation and copywriting skills. • Ability to analyse data and use insights to improve engagement. • Familiarity with social media advertising and paid campaigns is a plus.
