Training

Peer CARE Companions will be supported to complete: Roses in the Ocean’s self-paced Volunteer Peer CARE Companion online learning, 1-day facilitated online workshop, 4-hour TouchPoints suicide 'life keeper' training, Supporting our volunteers is important to us, Access to ongoing support and debriefing, Opportunities to participate in Group Co-Reflection sessions, Professional development opportunities

Time required

Once your training is complete, the minimum time required is approximately 3 hours per month at a time and location that best suits you and our service users. You’re in control of your own availability.
