Walking Buddy Volunteer (Burmese Speaking), HammondCare North Turramurra, NSW.

👟🌞🚶Walk and talk...
We are seeking Volunteers who enjoy keeping fit, taking a stroll or are just looking for a fun and active way to socialise.
While the ability to speak Burmese would be a wonderful bonus, it’s certainly not essential. What matters most is your kindness, your presence, and your willingness to share time with someone who would truly appreciate it.
We’d love to hear from you, whatever your background or language. Your company can make a genuine difference in someone’s day.
You'll be helping to maintain residents mobility as well as their healthy wellbeing and confidence as you take in the sights of the broader grounds. No fitness level required as this is a social outing with light paced exercise. 🚶♀️🌤️🌿
Your impact
Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.
