
Camp Twinkletoes is a day event hosted by The Arthritis Movement for young children living with Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (JIA) and their families.
The Arthritis Movement is currently seeking volunteers to assist in the delivery of the event at Melbourne Zoo.
As a Volunteer Leader, you will:
- Support our staff in facilitating activities and event experiences
- Assist with the supervision and safety of children throughout the day
- Encourage and engage children to participate in activities with a fun, positive, and welcoming attitude
- Help foster supportive relationships and meaningful connections between the children.
We are looking for volunteers who are:
- Friendly, encouraging, and positive
- Reliable, adaptable, and proactive
- Strong communicators and team players
- Comfortable engaging with children and building rapport with families
- Passionate about supporting children living with disability or chronic health conditions
This opportunity would be particularly suited to those with a background or interest in:
- Childhood education or development
- Allied health, disability support, or community services
- Working with children and families
