What does a typical day look like in a Shop?

In your 4-hour shift (or more if you like) you’ll be doing a variety of tasks like:

• Welcoming and engaging customers.

• Processing transactions through point of sale, including cash and eftpos payments.

• Sorting and pricing donations.

• Creating vibrant displays to attract shoppers.

• Keeping the shop clean and tidy.

• Following all shop processes.

What skills do you need?

• Friendly and positive attitude.

• Sociable and engaging with others.

• Happy to work as part of a team.

• Flexible and willing to do any of the shop tasks.

• Commitment to your nominated shift.

You must be at least 15 years of age.

Completing a National Police check (paid by Red Cross).

You will also be required to complete an Induction into our organisation and Retail program.
