Bring Joy to Children!Volunteer to support disabled children!

🎉 Be the Joy in a Child’s Day – Volunteer Play Helper Needed in the Western Suburbs! Support families of children with disabilities while having fun with little ones
Looking for a meaningful, heart-filled way to give back in your local community? Extended Families Australia, a not-for-profit that has supported children with disabilities and their families for over 40 years, is calling on locals in the Western Suburbs to help us bring joy to little ones — and peace of mind to their parents.
We’re seeking Play Helpers to support our MyTime program — a national, government-funded peer support group for parents and carers of children with disabilities. While the adults connect, you’ll play, laugh, and nurture their young children in a safe, happy space.
🧡 We need you in:
📍 Point Cook – 35 Windorah Drive 📅 Wednesdays (every fortnight during school term) 🕥 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM
📍 Kings Park (moving soon to Cairnlea or Braybrook) – 45 Kings Road 📅 Tuesdays (every fortnight during school term) 🕥 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM
That’s just 5 fun mornings per term – and your impact will be huge.
🎈 Why you’ll love it:
You’ll get to connect with children through play and imagination
You’ll be part of a trusted, inclusive community
You’ll receive full training (including in-person orientation and peer support at fun events and clubs)
You’ll be supported every step of the way by our amazing Volunteer Coordinator
You’ll help lift the emotional load for families who often carry so much
