Events Planner (2 Positions)

About the Role
The Events Coordinator role at Latin Community Hub (LCH) is shared across TWO (2) positions and is crucial in managing all the aspects of an event's organisation, including planning, execution and evaluation. This position requires strong organisational skills, customer service, and excellent cross-department communication. Key responsibilities include defining the goals and objectives of the event, organising a team of volunteers, determining the event’s budget, planning, executing and evaluating the event's success. The role also involves collaboration with team members including the Treasurer, Marketing Leader, and Volunteer Coordinator to ensure the success of LCH's mission.
Key Responsibilities
• Bilingual Proficiency: Incorporate bilingual elements (English & Spanish) when appropriate to address a diverse, multicultural customer base.
• Planning and Logistics: Event logistics include venue and date, activities, budgets, marketing, distribution of roles, and coordinating suppliers.
• Coordination: Manage volunteers, ensure logistics are addressed, and take care of any unforeseen issues during the event.
• Communication: Communicate with staff, clients and stakeholders before, during and after the event. Keep accurate documentation of event process.
• Evaluation and Improvement: Obtain feedback and analyse the results to identify areas of improvement.
