Volunteer duties include:

• Welcoming visitors to the property and providing information about house access and tours

• Assisting with customer service and sales to enhance the visitor experience

• Helping with the presentation of retail and reception area

• Processing ticket and retail sales through VEND

Training:

• Induction and familiarisation visit with the property and staff

• Full training in the retail software used by the National Trust (NSW) and cash handling procedures

• On-the-job training in customer service and retail operations including best practices for interacting with visitors and enhancing their experience
