As a Volunteer Social Visitor, you’ll offer companionship and genuine social connection to older people living in your community 🤝😊.

We’re looking for a friendly person who would love to brighten the day of an older lady in Raymond Terrace who would enjoy a weekly or fortnightly visit for a cuppa and a chat. Our client would enjoy talking about growing up in Germany and moving to Australia, recipes - including for mouth-watering apple strudel - and living and working on the family farm.

Your impact

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.

HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.
