Volunteer Homework Tutors help children from refugee families with their homework. The parents of these children are unable to help their children due to lack of English literacy (being refugees from war-torn countries that have come to Australia with little English). You can choose what level you feel comfortable tutoring from Prep to Year 12. As little as one hour of tutoring a week could make all the difference to the success of a child's education. This is an opportunity for you to make a real contribution to the future success of these children. You can choose to tutor face-to-face at one of the community homework clubs or you can tutor online at a time convenient to both you and your assigned student's family.
