LEGO® Club Volunteers
LEGO® Club Volunteer – Longbeach Learning and Activity Centre (LLAC)
Do you love LEGO® and want to give something back to your local community? We're looking for friendly, reliable volunteers to help support our weekly LEGO® Club at LLAC in Chelsea.
Running every Friday from 4–5pm, our LEGO® Club is a drop-in creative session for kids aged 6 to 13, led by an experienced facilitator. It's a fun, relaxed hour of building, imagination, and teamwork — and it's been a hit with local families since launching in December 2025.
We're looking to build a small, friendly volunteer team — you won't be on your own, and we're happy to work around your availability.
What you'll do:
- Support the facilitator in delivering a fun, safe, and engaging experience
- Help participants with their builds, encourage teamwork, and keep the energy positive
- Set up and pack down LEGO® materials before and after each session
What you'll need:
- Enthusiasm for creative play and working around kids aged 6–13
- Reliability — we count on our volunteers every Friday
- A current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain one)
- Please note: this is an allergy-aware environment — no food is permitted in the room
Why volunteer with us?
- Be part of a fun, growing program that kids and families love
- Join a welcoming team at a respected neighbourhood house serving Chelsea for over 50 years
- Give a little time and make a real difference locally
Why now? Volunteering with LLAC is also a chance to be part of something bigger — we're actively growing programs that reflect the changing needs of a more diverse, vibrant Chelsea co
