☕️ Coffee Please! 🤎Volunteer Opportunity – HammondCare Wahroonga 🏡💛

Spend your morning helping create a welcoming, café‑style space for elderly residents at HammondCare Wahroonga. This is a chance to help create a café‑style atmosphere ☕🍰 — setting out cups and saucers, making coffee using a pod machine, and serving light refreshments with a warm smile. It’s a simple way to bring comfort, warmth, and a sense of community to those who appreciate it most.

We’re seeking support for a 10am–12pm morning session, Monday to Friday, either weekly or fortnightly. Your presence can turn an everyday coffee break into a moment of joy and companionship.

Your impact

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help older people feel less isolated.

HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.
