Hilltops Dance for Parkinson's & Mobility Class Support - Young - #236414
We are seeking dedicated volunteers to assist with our Dance for Parkinson’s and low mobility class for older adults in Young, NSW. Ideal candidates will have experience in aged care, health, arts, or a caring profession. You will help participants enjoy the class by providing support and supervision while the facilitator leads.
Key responsibilities include:

Assisting and supervising participants during the class

Setting up and packing up chairs in the hall

Preparing and cleaning up morning tea

Providing general mobility support
Volunteers must complete a free online course on Parkinson’s and review the volunteer handbook. Experience supporting seniors, basic food preparation skills, and the ability to lift light chairs are required. We request a current Police check for this role.
Schedule: Tuesdays, 11:00am–1:00pm (school terms) at Young Uniting Church Hall, NSW 2594.
