🗣️💛 Croatian‑Speaking Volunteer Role at HammondCare Waratah
We’re looking for a warm and caring person who can speak Croatian to offer conversation and companionship to an elderly resident at HammondCare Waratah.
Your visits — just one hour each week or fortnight — will bring comfort, connection, and a sense of familiarity through shared language and friendly conversation. It’s a simple way to brighten someone’s day and make a meaningful difference.
Your impact
Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.
