We are seeking a kind, Spanish‑speaking volunteer to spend time with an elderly resident who would truly appreciate conversation in their own language. Sharing a cuppa and a chat ☕💬, or—when the weather is kind—a gentle walk around the grounds 🌿🚶‍♂️ with a stop at the onsite café, can bring comfort, connection, and joy.

Your presence, your language, and your warmth can brighten someone’s day in the most heartfelt way 💖.

Your impact

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.

HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.
