We are looking for a special kind of person – a St Vincent’s kind of person. Someone who puts compassion, connection and caring for other people at the heart of everything they do.
As a Social Gardening Volunteer at St Vincent’s Care Maroochydore, you’ll be part of an experienced, engaged and dedicated team.
What You’ll Do:
- Assist residents with caring for their garden
- Watering / Weeding / Potting plants
- Spend time with the residents, enjoy the space together
- Foster a friendly and relaxing environment for the residents in their calm space

Our St Vincent's Care homes' gardens are a safe and calm space for our residents. They provide a great opportunity for residents to get outside and contribute to their home community. By volunteering just a few hours each month, you'll help create memorable spaces that enhance their well-being and bring joy to their lives.
We’re Looking For:
- Volunteers at least 18 years of age
- Volunteers who are enthusiastic about tending to the gardens and helping both our residents and flowers to bloom
- Reliable people who enjoy communicating and creating a positive environment
