Core Responsibilities:

• Welcome families and provide tours • Answer questions about hospital services • Admin duties (phones, database updates) • Manage and cleaning of communal areas (kitchen/dining) • Assist with laundry and stock management • Support and buddy new volunteers • Act as an ambassador for the House

Shifts • Monday – Sunday • 9 am – 12 noon OR 4 – 8 pm

What compliance is required?

• Working with Children's Check
• Police check
• Signing and agreeing to our Code of Conduct
• Immunisation Requirements (NSW Health – Classification A) • Hep B (course + serology) • dTpa (within 10 years) • MMR (vaccination or serology) • Varicella (vaccination or serology) • Annual flu shot

Commitment • Minimum one shift per fortnight • Minimum 6 months

You will interact with vulnerable children, therefore you must be willing to undergo an immunisation status review and accept any required boosters. This is essential to protect both yourself and those you serve.
