Training

Volunteers receive a short event briefing and a short instruction video to help them understand their role, respectful communication, boundaries, and safeguarding expectations.

Time required

Volunteers can join one session or participate on an ongoing basis. We welcome both individual volunteers and corporate or team volunteers.

Reimbursement

$8 travel reimbursement per session, plus complimentary gourmet afternoon tea and a LifeLinkConnect logo T-shirt.

Requirements

Each volunteer will be provided with a complimentary LifeLinkConnect T-shirt and is asked to arrive a little earlier on the day of the event to change into it before the activity begins. However, volunteers are free to decline the T-shirt if they would prefer not to wear it during the event. Volunteers should be friendly, respectful, and comfortable engaging with adults from diverse backgrounds. This is a community-based role. Volunteers are expected to follow event guidance, maintain appropriate boundaries, and help create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment. For ongoing or expanded volunteer involvement, additional screening such as a National Police Clearance may be requested.
