Founded in 1996, Assistance Dogs Australia (ADA) breeds, trains, and places highly skilled assistance dogs to support people living with physical disabilities, autism, and PTSD.
The Volunteer Photographer/Videographer plays an important role in visually documenting ADA’s impact. You will capture high-quality photos and videos at training sessions, graduations, community events, and other key moments. Your work will help share inspiring stories externally while also supporting the creation of internal training resources for volunteers.
This is a flexible, project-based opportunity suited to a creative professional or passionate hobbyist who wants to use their talents for a meaningful cause.
Training All Volunteer Photographers/Videographers receive guidance and support to feel confident in their role, including: • Volunteer orientation and onboarding • Guidelines for photographing and filming assistance dogs • Direction and support when producing training content • Access to consent documentation and branding guidelines • Ongoing staff support for assignments • Regular feedback and recognition
