Volunteer Accountant / Bookkeeping Support

Life Medicine International is seeking a volunteer with accounting or bookkeeping experience to support our not-for-profit organisation. This role involves assisting with basic financial record keeping, tracking income and expenses, and supporting compliance requirements.

This is a great opportunity to volunteer within a supportive team environment. We are able to sign off on volunteer hours for visa extension requirements, and/or hours may also be eligible for Centrelink mutual obligation requirements. Your contribution will directly support a variety of programs community health education.

Volunteer Grounds & Landscaping Assistant

Life Medicine International is looking for volunteers to assist with landscaping and outdoor maintenance at our locations. Tasks may include gardening, mowing, planting, and general outdoor improvements to help maintain a welcoming and peaceful environment.

No prior experience is necessary, just a willingness to work outdoors and be part of a team. This role is ideal for those wanting hands-on experience and to contribute to a meaningful cause. We can provide verification of volunteer hours for visa extension purposes, and hours may count toward Centrelink requirements.

Volunteer Maintenance & Building Projects Assistant

We are seeking practical, hands-on volunteers to assist with maintenance and small building projects across our facilities. Tasks may include basic repairs, painting, minor construction, and general upkeep.

This is a great opportunity to develop or use trade and practical skills in a supportive environment while contributing to a purpose-driven organisation.

Approved volunteering with our not-for-profit organisation may also be used to meet Centrelink mutual obligation requirements instead of some or all job search activities (subject to approval), including submission of a Verification of Voluntary Work form (SU462); this generally applies to those on payments for over 12 months or aged 55+, and in some cases for those under 55 through a combination of work and volunteering as agreed with their employment services provider.
