Join the repair movement – Sewist & Fashion designer needed

Sewing support volunteers (all levels welcome)
Love sewing, mending or making? Use your skills to help extend the life of clothes and make fashion more sustainable.
You don’t need to be an expert — we welcome everyone from beginners to experienced sewists and designers.
As a volunteer, you can:
-
Show simple mending skills like hemming, patching and darning
-
Help people repair, alter or rework their clothes
-
Support creative upcycling and garment transformations
-
Guide participants in using sewing machines and overlockers safely
-
Share tips, troubleshoot issues and suggest techniques
-
Encourage people to learn, try and build confidence
-
Whether you’re into quick fixes, slow fashion, or creative reimagining, there’s a place for you.
-
✨ Help reduce textile waste
-
🧵 Share your skills and connect with others
-
♻️ Be part of a more circular approach to fashion
Great for fashion students, designers or anyone interested in circular fashion and hands-on community work.
You choose what you’re comfortable with — from basic repairs to more creative support.
