Help bring community events to life

Love organising, supporting others, or being part of something meaningful? Join us behind the scenes and help make our Mend & Remake sessions run smoothly.

You don’t need event experience, just a willingness to help, be organised and support the community.

As a volunteer, you can:

• Help set up events online, manage registrations and send reminders
• Assist with event set-up and pack-down (no sewing machines required)
• Prepare materials, instructions and info sheets for participants
• Welcome people on arrival and support check-in and check-out
• Support participants during sessions and help things run smoothly
• Help ensure everyone understands basic WHS and feels comfortable
• Take photos, gather feedback and help document the event
• Help purchase materials, manage stock and suggest improvements

Whether you enjoy organising, being hands-on, or supporting people, there’s a place for you.

We’re a super chill, welcoming and friendly group. A big part of Mend & Remake is about being creative together, supporting each other, and having a good time while doing something meaningful.

You can volunteer:

• for one event
• for a short period
• or on an ongoing basis (12 months or more)
