Event organiser/coordinator for clothing repair workshops (no experience needed)

Help bring community events to life
Love organising, supporting others, or being part of something meaningful? Join us behind the scenes and help make our Mend & Remake sessions run smoothly.
You don’t need event experience, just a willingness to help, be organised and support the community.
As a volunteer, you can:
- Help set up events online, manage registrations and send reminders
- Assist with event set-up and pack-down (no sewing machines required)
- Prepare materials, instructions and info sheets for participants
- Welcome people on arrival and support check-in and check-out
- Support participants during sessions and help things run smoothly
- Help ensure everyone understands basic WHS and feels comfortable
- Take photos, gather feedback and help document the event
- Help purchase materials, manage stock and suggest improvements
Whether you enjoy organising, being hands-on, or supporting people, there’s a place for you.
- ✨ Help create welcoming community experiences
- 🤝 Connect with others and be part of a supportive team
- 🌿 Contribute to a more sustainable and connected community
Great for anyone interested in events, community work, or gaining hands-on experience in a relaxed and creative environment.
You can choose how you get involved — from one-off events to more regular support.
