Foster Care Events & Recruitment Volunteer Assistant

Key Responsibilities
- Assist with planning and attending events and activities, including foster carer recruitment, carer and family events, and fundraising initiatives (e.g. BBQs).
- Contribute ideas for new events and activities to enhance engagement and participation.
- Support event setup and pack-down, including decorations, signage, activity stations, and materials.
- Welcome attendees, provide directions, and help create a friendly and inclusive environment.
- Assist in running activities such as arts and crafts, games, workshops, and information booths.
- Provide general support to staff and carers during events.
- Assist with registration, check-in, and distribution of event materials.
- Monitor event spaces to support the safety and wellbeing of children and families.
- Support event logistics, including refreshments, seating, and equipment.
- Contribute feedback and ideas to continuously improve event experiences.
