We are seeking a volunteer Dancercise Instructor who can bring fun, rhythm, and encouragement to our senior students through accessible dance‑based fitness.

Experience and Skill:

• Movement Knowledge: You are confident leading low impact, music based movement suitable for seniors - whether that’s simple dance routines, rhythmic exercises, or upbeat cardio-style movements. A background in group fitness, dance instruction or similar is highly valued. Having a fitness certification is preferred. You should also have a First Aid certification.

• Communication skills: You guide movements in a simple, friendly, and easy-to-follow way.

• Patience and empathy: Being patient and encouraging is essential to help students feel confident and bring out the best in them

• Ability to tailor instruction: You’re aware of the physical and mobility considerations of seniors and teach with safety, compassion, and care.

• Motivation & Energy: You bring positivity and encouragement that inspires seniors to move, smile, and keep coming back.

As a volunteer instructor, you’re committed to conduct:

• weekly sessions lasting 1 hour
• anytime between 10am to 4pm from Monday to Friday. (subject to room availability)
• Term 2 commences on Monday 20 April – Friday 3 July 2026
• open for discussion for online class

Our school is conveniently situated in Sydney’s CBD, just a short walk from Town Hall or St James station.
