### Volunteer Position: Social Media Guru – Bocce Victoria

**Join our Community Engagement and Programs Team ** Bocce Victoria is seeking a passionate and skilled Volunteer Social Media Guru to lead and grow our digital presence across multiple platforms. This is a unique opportunity to be part of the State Sporting Body and contribute to the growth of an inclusive, community-driven sport that is gaining strong momentum across Victoria.

As part of this role, you will work closely with our Community Engagement Team and support the rollout of exciting programs alongside our incoming French Coach, helping to showcase development pathways, events, and community impact.

**About the Role ** You will manage and maintain Bocce Victoria’s social media platforms, creating engaging content that connects with our diverse community. Your work will play a key role in increasing awareness, participation, and engagement across all programs and events.

Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain all Bocce Victoria social media platforms (Meta, Instagram, and others) Develop and implement engaging content strategies Convert views into meaningful engagement and participation Promote events, programs, and community initiatives Capture and share live content from events and activations Work collaboratively with the Programs Team to highlight success stories and opportunities.

Essential Requirements Minimum 2 years’ experience managing multiple social media platforms Demonstrated experience using Meta (Facebook Business Suite / Ads Manager) Proven ability to convert reach into engagement and audience growth A portfolio of previous work (required with application) Strong written and verbal communication skills in English Australian Citizenship

Student visa applicants may be considered if enrolled in a sports-related tertiary program, or a tertiary course in marketing, e-commerce, and/or a digital marketing related field, and meet all requirements.

Additional Requirements Current Driver’s Licence and access to a vehicle (mandatory) Ability to attend events, including schools and community venues
