Sea Shepherd Volunteer Fundraisier- Adelaide SA

Role Purpose The Fundraising Volunteer supports the Adelaide Chapter by assisting with the planning, coordination and delivery of fundraising initiatives and activities throughout the year. This role plays an important part in helping the chapter raise funds to support campaigns, events and community engagement activities, including major initiatives such as the Ocean Defence Tour and Sea Shepherd’s 50th Anniversary celebrations. Key Responsibilities Assist with planning and coordinating fundraising activities for chapter events and campaigns. Support the development of creative fundraising ideas and initiatives. Help organise raffles, merchandise sales, donation drives and community fundraising events. Assist with sourcing prizes, sponsorship support and in-kind donations from local businesses. Work with the Chapter Coordinator and volunteer team to ensure fundraising activities are well organised and promoted. Help set up and pack down fundraising stalls and activities at events. Support record keeping of fundraising income, donations and event outcomes. Assist with promoting fundraising initiatives through social media, email and volunteer networks.
