Podcast producer

Print Radio Tasmania provides accessible news, information and entertainment for Tasmanians who are blind, have low vision, low literacy or limited access to print media. Today, we are moving beyond traditional radio to build Tasmania’s first disability-led media platform, where people with disability can create content, shape conversations and influence community life. We broadcast on AM and FM, DAB+ digital radio, through a live stream on our website, and via on-demand podcasts that amplify diverse voices and stories from across the state. Our statewide and online network is powered by around 80 dedicated volunteers and one paid staff member. As a volunteer podcast producer, you'll help to edit and shape stories that matter. When we receive funding for a new podcast, we draw from our panel of producers to build the team. It’s project-based work and varies depending on the project. You’ll gain hands-on experience producing published podcasts and contribute to meaningful, community driven content. You can work from anywhere in Tasmania. We’re committed to accessibility and inclusion and strongly encourage disabled applicants to apply.
