Interested in using your English skills to support international students and migrants while making a meaningful impact in the community?
LLAMA (League of Latin American Migrants Australia) is a not-for-profit organisation delivering free English programs to Latin American migrants and international students across Australia.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking volunteers to support in-person English sessions in Melbourne CBD, working with participants from diverse backgrounds, particularly Spanish-speaking communities.
This opportunity is open to both:
English teachers, and native or fluent English speakers without formal teaching experience
Sessions are relaxed, interactive, and conversation-focused, helping participants build confidence and improve their everyday communication in Australia.
KEY RESPONSABILITIES

Facilitate small group (3–7 participants)

Support participants to practise speaking

Assist with pronunciation and everyday English

Share insights into Australian culture, language, and workplace communication
-
Create a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive environment
TIME COMMITMENT
Time: 3:00 PM – 4:45 PM (strict finish time due to venue requirements)
