Bill Raby Diabetes Fellowship Governing Board

The Fellowship aims to enhance the well-being of people with diabetes and the general community in the NT. Fellowship financial support can be made available to applicants in the following two categories:

• Youth affected by diabetes
• Community-based health promotion projects

Role of the Fellowship Governing Board

A Fellowship Board of Governors appointed by, and reporting to, the Healthy Living NT Board oversees the operations, and advises on the strategic directions, of the Fellowship. The prime functions and responsibilities of the Fellowship Governing Board include:

1. Acting as sole arbiter on applications, award of Fellowships, funding levels and assessment of outcomes.

2. Providing strategic advice on the development and direction of the Fellowship.

3. Assisting with promotion of the Fellowship.

Governors are appointed on the basis of their expertise/eminence in their particular field and knowledge of the NT community. All appointments are on an honorary basis for a minimum term of 3 years.
