Hornsby Ku-Ring-gai Community Transport is looking for friendly volunteers to join our weekly social bus outings, supporting older people to live social, connected, and independent lives!

Community transport can help:
• Reduce loneliness and isolation • Build confidence and independence • Support physical health and mobility • Improve mental and emotional wellbeing

As a Volunteer Social Assistant with Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Community Transport, you’ll coordinate the day’s social outings programs across Greater Sydney.

By volunteering with Community Transport as a Social Assistant, you’ll - have fun, as we explore our beautiful city of Sydney and surrounds, feel good giving back to your community and, lunch is on us!
