The Parramatta Half Marathon is Sydney’s newest major running event. On Sunday, June 21, 2026, runners will take over the streets of Parramatta, tackling a 21.1km closed road course through Parramatta Park, the CBD, and along the river foreshore.

All pre-race activity will take place at CommBank Stadium, where thousands of participants will arrive ahead of race day to collect their event materials and prepare for the run.

We are seeking volunteers to support Pre-Race operations at CommBank Stadium, assisting with participant services and event preparation.

Volunteer roles include:

• Bib Collection – assisting participants with bib pick-up and enquiries
• Shirt Collection – distributing official event shirts
• Bag Drop – supporting secure bag storage and collection
• Marshal – guiding participants and managing flow within the stadium precinct

These roles suit individuals who are reliable, approachable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.

But none of it happens without volunteers.
