Position summary

At GCG Headquarters, the General Manager of Consulting will lead HQ initiatives and branch capabilities through project management and stakeholder engagement.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead the HQ Consulting team: Ensure alignment with the Consulting strategy and successful delivery of projects at both the HQ and branch levels.
  • Make Strategic Decisions: Develop and structure key initiatives to be executed by the Consulting team.
  • Liaise with Externals: Facilitate discussions with key stakeholders, including Branch leadership, large NFP clients, professional advisors and faculty partners.
  • Support Operations and Communication: Continuously improve processes and participate in regular team meetings.

To be a successful Candidate, you will:

  • Be passionate about social impact.
  • Have strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Be able to contribute 6-8 hours/week, including meetings with the internal consulting team, as well as key external stakeholders.
  • A minimum of 4 years of management consulting, corporate strategy or equivalent professional experience.
  • Exceptional commercial problem-solving skills with a track history of leading projects or engagements.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including effective verbal and written communication across diverse audiences.
